Be Steadfast and Strong

Micah 2:13

Your leader will break out and lead you out of exile, out through the gates of the enemy cities, back to your own land. Your king will lead you; the LORD himself will guide you.”

God showed Micah two great events that were going to happen: 1) Judah’s return from captivity in Babylon; 2. The great gathering of the saints when the Messiah returns. Micah didn’t know the time when all this would happen, but he did know that God said it would happen when He wanted it too. This gave the people hope and helped them turn from their sin.

There are times in our lives when we might have little hope about something. There are times when we might not know the future outcome of our circumstances. This is not time to panic, but to believe God has something better waiting for you when you persevere through it. We need to not worry about tomorrow, for today has enough problems of itself. We need to remember to let God show and lead us to what He has for our future. We have to be steadfast and strong to live for God. We can’t waiver and give up, but be bold enough to fight the good fight and conquer the evil one when he sends us road blocks and tempts us to do wrong.

Dear Jesus, help me to be strong and steadfast in you today. Lead me to where you would have me to be. Help me to not waiver under any circumstance and help me conquer any evil that comes my way today! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
