Let God Get the Victory!

Zechariah 6:13

Yes, he will build the Temple of the LORD. Then he will receive royal honor and will rule as king from his throne. He will also serve as priest from his throne, and there will be perfect harmony between his two roles.’

In this scripture, we see Judah was split into two districts: One, the king ruling the nation’s political life and second, the high priest ruling its religious life. God was telling Zechariah that one day both positions would be filled by one person. This was very unusual for this day.

God was referring to Jesus Christ to one day be king and high priest over the entire world. Jesus will one day sit at the throne in the temple of Jerusalem. Jesus will rule over all the earth and we will worship and praise His name for all the things He has done for us in our lives. We have a lot to look forward to as followers of Jesus Christ. Remember, no eye has seen and no ear has heard the things that God has for those that love Him.

Remember, put God first in your life. Keep Him number one on your mind every moment of every day. Don’t let Satan steal your joy and peace. Don’t let him confuse you anymore. Go to God and tell Him that Satan doesn’t have any hold on your life anymore. Let God get the victory today and watch how God will transform your life!
